I love being commissioned!
Every building I have rendered has become a personal friend — sometimes a frustrating and difficult friend — but always worthwhile getting to know.
If you have a favourite building, the proud owner of a much loved house, or an Architect completing a modern traditional design, why not consider commissioning one of my colourful watercolour renderings?
They make lovely gifts and with proper care can become part of the history of the house and family — an heirloom passed down the generations.
I work with Architects to render their designs in beautiful detail. The traditional technique of ink and watercolour rendering is a great adjunct to CGI.
Whether it's a palace or a Cotswold cottage, each rendering is treated with the utmost care and attention.
I thrive on the details, creating an image of the building as it stands at present. The quirks and age all add to the uniqueness.
I can work from scale drawings or photographs and am happy to visit you and take a few measurements and run my eye over the details of the house.
My drawings are mostly at a large and detailed scale on Imperial sheets (22" x 30").
However, if you're interested in a smaller drawing, a Half Imperial still makes an impressive addition to any space.
I only use the best quality 100% cotton watercolour paper, such as the butter smooth Moulin du Roy, together with Artist grade Inks and Watercolours.
Archival quality is assured.
